Complete Control Over Data

Government enterprises require sensitive data to be shared securely and for all files and user activity to be tracked. FileCloud helps organizations store data on premise and provides extensive admin features to monitor any security issues and take action remotely.

Secure File Sharing

FileCloud provides many security features and endpoint backup for government, defense and public contractors. Get data leak prevention, content classification, ransomware protection, data governance and retention, endpoint device protection, and much more.

ITAR Compliance Center

FileCloud’s ITAR Compliance Center provides users with a complete overview of compliance standards, along with an easy-to-use interface and recommendations for best practices. The Compliance Center helps users stay compliant with content classification, data leak prevention, and secure file sharing.

Secure Transfer between Government Agencies

All files are secured in-transit and at-rest with encryption and auto scanned by anti-virus. Digital rights management ensures that files are only used as intended, preventing any unauthorized viewing, screenshots, or printing.

Security and Private File Sharing

Not only does FileCloud offer complete control over data, but it also allows you to share sensitive files privately with specific users. Data leak prevention controls user actions and prevents accidental data leaks. Retention policies ensure accurate management and maintenance of documents. FileCloud also supports 2FA for users and third-party vendors.

NIPR/ SIPR Isolated Network

The Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet) is one of the mail IP networks used by U.S. Department of Defense to exchange unclassified information or non-secure communications. NIPR helps exchange sensitive but unclassified information among private network users and non-secure personnel who cannot access or connect to NIPR. FileCloud can be used to exchange files using NIPR securely.

The Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) is used by the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of State to exchange and transmit classified information over a secure environment. SIPRNet is the DoD’s version of the internet to exchange classified information. FileCloud can be used securely to connect and share files and information using SIPR.

FileCloud’s Governance and Policies

FileCloud understands the importance of governance options and policies that facilitate government file sharing. That’s why there are totally customizable classification and retention policies available.

Retention policies allow you to automate certain actions when it comes to managing and organizing your documents. This policy-based automation helps secure your content and gives you total control over document life cycles.

FileCloud’s policy system allows you to create policies that restrict how files and folders are accessed/deleted/edited, which helps ensure the security of your content. FileCloud’s retention policies are also hierarchical, which means you can select the policy that works best for your needs.

Retention policies can include admin hold, legal hold, retention, trash retention, and archival. Within the FileCloud system, you can apply these retention policies to files and folders and customize policies based on the needs of your organization.

Workflow Automation for Government Work

Workflow automation is nothing more than the ability to create a series of automated actions where tasks, data, and files are created and moved according to previously set rules. Workflow automation is used in many different ways, but some of the most common are:

  • Contract Review
  • Employee Onboarding
  • Invoice Approval
  • Document Workflows

Workflow automation improves the efficiency of your team by completing tedious tasks automatically. This allows your team focus on more important work, all while your administrative tasks are completed automatically.

Enterprise Record Management

With rising government regulations and legal mandates, sensitive documents and corporate files must be securely managed. FileCloud’s cloud records management system efficiently manages records throughout their lifecycle, from creation to distribution to deletion. Enterprises process large amounts of information from various internal and external sources, such as document files, emails, digital documents, photos, audio recordings, contracts, images and videos. The records management system is responsible for identifying information to be retained as records, manage them throughout the lifecycle and be able to fetch records when required for legal proceedings or internal processes.

Auditing

By providing options to record every user action (who, what, when, where, how), FileCloud gives customers the best possible audit data to satisfy any type of compliance. FileCloud’s audit reports help system admins to manage data, understand usage, and monitor suspicious user behavior. Reports and filtering tools can be easily accessed via a centralized dashboard.
