File Sharing Problem & Key Requirements

Veeda used sharepoint and windows network sharing to share files with their employees and clients. Veeda used windows network sharing for internal sharing, while for client sharing they used sharepoint. The problem they faced was the inability to share files directly from windows network to their clients. If they had a need to share files with a client the team had to copy and move files to the sharepoint server. From sharepoint, the team member was able to share files with the client. This process took additional time for employees and also project team was unable to track which files are moved to sharepoint server etc. Further admin/ manager was unable to track who viewed, download, uploaded the files shared to employees and clients. So, Veeda was looking for a system using which their team could share windows network files directly with the client.
